Mind the Gap: Shifting towards Shared Prosperity

Dr. Muhammad put forward a pressing issue surrounding our schoolchildren. He argues that many of the schoolchildren in Malaysia are malnourished and this has affected their cognitive ability. He also touches on the importance of investing in the younger generation and giving fair pay to their parents. For example, giving a certain sum of money to a B40 family would spur the economic development of Malaysia because the family is more likely to spend domestically. On the other hand, if we give the same amount of money to a T20 family, the family will most probably spend it overseas.

The Malaysian Dilemma: The Future of Race-Based Policies
